Our process begins with an Elementary Energy Study. With the EES, SUMMA employees will walk through your facility and take a few moments with you and your staff to better understand your energy needs and quickly determine if a Technical Energy Audit would be beneficial to your company.
With a Technical Energy Audit, SUMMA will bring in our team of engineers, behavioral consultants, HVAC technicians, electrical contractors, utility meter and other energy experts to bring to you a fully detailed energy saving plan. Inside this plan, SUMMA will provide to you the budgeted costs for implemented energy projects, documentation for use with procurement or bidding processes, and the associated dollar payback of the implemented measures.
SUMMA’s Construction Management division’s purpose is to ensure that your company’s energy efficient measures are constructed properly. With SUMMA assisting to oversee your energy efficiency measures from start to finish we help ensure your projects stay within time and budget so your company can start saving energy dollars as soon as possible. This maximizes your company’s Return on Investment.
Energy Saving Retention Programs have been developed by SUMMA to ensure that you will continue saving energy dollars and not be stricken by “building creep”. These programs range from a 3 month after construction visit, to warranty work, to a behavioral energy program. With our behavioral energy program, we become your energy “partners in conservation” and continue to help your facility personnel indentify and maintain your energy conservation culture.
As an added assistance, SUMMA has developed a quick tool to assist you. This tool is the pre-assessment form. Your facility can fill out this form and send it to SUMMA and with it we can ascertain the potential energy savings that can be accomplished and shorten the time of the EES.
